I have a very annoying problem. Whenever I click on a link that opens a new window it just comes up with a transparent window. At the top of the window it says -Microsoft Internet Explorer- instead of the address. I have already tried repairing IE but it hasn't done any good. It only does this with links that open new windows, any link that just replaces the current page works. Any ideas on how to fix this :?:

i did what you said. all i need to do is update IE the only problem is that whenever i do windows update it wont install. it says that IE had an error and it wanted to know if i wanted to send an error report. what do i do to get the updates?

i had the exact same problem and it drove me nutz.... in the end this is wot fixed it....
i downloaded gsda.dll and everything sprang back to life.....i rekkon i lost it in the first place cos of a botched download that went a bit wrong.... it may be different for u.... but it may be worth having a look

cos like u i tried everything n was at my wits end

Did IE work correctly after you rolled back and before you re-installed IE6?
