Defeating Websense

My school has a internet filer called websense. It is a filter that detects pages with games and such and blocks them out.

How do I get past it?

I have worked with networks before, and I know the following facts:

-The filtering proxy is forced
-Using other internet programs dosent work
-Every html page is blocked, wether it be in a program or browser

how can I encrypt my connections so websense cannot see the web pages?
