Still in the DESKTOP area---DESKTOP ICONS

Still in the DESTOP area--

My DESKTOP icons have changed from their original appearnce.

How do I default them back to their WINME appearance?

Do you mean they moved? Or the my computer network places etc changed icons?

To make the icons default, right click the desktop, click the tab 'desktop' then click 'customize desktop' and there should be a thing with the my comp etc icons. Click the 'restore default' button.

Thats with WINXP but I am sure it is the same in ME. If it isn't, tell me and I will start up my other comp w/ ME.

This is how I changed them back to the Windows setting--

R\click Active Desktop
Customize my DT
Effects
I checked show icons in all possible colors
Default icons

I saw that possibility earlier, but I was hesitant to follow up. I didn't want to change something that I may have trouble restoring. I hope that I stay normal for awhile.
