HELP!

OK, her it goes .I finally but all my parts together the right way I turned it on got cmos and did what manual said to.
But when it booted up I noticed that it would not let use the CD-ROM it was pluged the riht way but it would not apper on My COMP,
IT wored on safe mode SO i istalled direct X9
after that it just said that It was running in MS-DOS, But I cant take out of MS-DOS. I think when downloaded Direct X9 it just screwed every thing.

ANYBODY KNOW HOW TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM???
