signature help needed

Postby badpolarbear » Tue Jun 15, 2004 7:50 pm

Im using outlook express and it seems some one is sending emails as me because Im getting delivery failure notices from different places. I tried to create a signature but cant figure out how to get a picture in. I would like to use one of my gifs that I am using in my signature on this site. Can anyone tell me the proper steps to achieve this goal? Daniel

Most of the Failure Notices I get are Trojans. They were never sent by me.
As for the Sig. Create it in Word and save it. Then in the Signature section of OE's "Options", select that File. You will need to be using HTML to Compose.

Well I have been working on this one for three days now and it seems no matter what I do the signature will not work. I wonder if I just signed my name on my monitor would it send with all my emails? :lol:

Ok Daniel...here's the HTML code:

<html>

<head>
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type"
content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1">
<meta name="GENERATOR" content="Microsoft FrontPage Express 2.0">
<title>BADPOLARBEAR</title>
</head>

<body bgcolor="#FFFFFF">

<p><img
src="http://img55.photobucket.com/albums/v167/badpolarbear/avatar.jpg"
width="80" height="64"> <strong>BADPOLARBEAR</strong></p>
</body>
</html>

Copy the code and save as HTM,upload it to your server.
Then in Outlook,configuring sig you can use an HTML document,point to that HTM file .

Thats it!!
