I am having a problem that I can't seem to clean up. When I run Spybot it finds an entry for wwwcoolwebsearch and I tell it to fix the problem and it does and then when I open IE it goes to a strange web page,,, not the one that I have set up as my default Home page. I reset it and then close the browser and then reopen and it goes back to the strange page. I downloaded CWSHREDDER and ran it and it says it has fixed the problem and as soon as I reopen IE it changes back to the strange page and then when I run Spybot it locates Coolwebsearch and tries to fix it but it seems to return when IE is started again..................I have Adaware 6 and with it running in the background I get a popup every few seconds that something is trying to make a change in the registry also.......... one of the changes is as follows:
HKey_Local_Machine
Key = Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
value = addtc32.exe
Trying to change value to:
C:\Windows\system32\addtc32.exe
The other registry item that it keeps trying to change is to the home page that I have chosen as the default - if I don't have the Adaware program running these changes are made automatically.
Please review my Hijack This Log and see if you see something that is causing this recurring problem ----------or I would appreciate any suggestions for repairing and or eliminating this problem------thanks in advance for your help - you guys have helped me so many times I am grateful for your dedication to helping others!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello again Brad, I completed the tasks just as you suggested - several times - but some of the files were not there that you suggested that I delete. Each time I clean everything up like you said and then reboot it takes me to a different home page. When I run CWShredder now it does not find the CoolWebSearch item.
