ActiveX problem

Postby badpolarbear » Wed Jun 16, 2004 1:48 pm

I am trying to access a site and keep getting this message. How do I resolve this issue? I dont like fooling around in ActiveX without knowing for sure what Im doing.

This is actually the first time I have had this problem with this particular site. Daniel

Try bumping your Secuity settings down a notch or else you have it disabled.

I found the solution. Went to IE, tools, internet options, security, restricted sites, lowered the setting to medium and also changed the ActiveX control from disable to prompt. Im running IE6. Cant say what the site was but nooooo it wasnt a porn one so there put your mind at ease :P
