Postby ubh » Sat Jul 10, 2004 12:04 pm

I got hooked up with the 3D BenchMark SE program and ran it, only to get a lame score of 6200, I would get a steady 60 fps but thats it, like something was holding it back from giveing me the ammount this card suppost too, so after talking with my friend he told me to post here and ask if there is anyone else out there that has had this?

try http://softmod.ocfaq.com/ and get the Catalyst 4.7 Drivers have been released and patched. should work better :D thats latest drivers and get latest direct x installed after. thats what people told me before and worked fine for me :). plus if u got the open gl/direct x settings to highest thats gonna take a lot out ur card cuz i test it with mine try leaving it default and then try with these new drivers?

okay.. here's how to almost double that 3dmark 2001 SE score..

go into display properties.. click the settings tab.. then the advanced button.. under direct3D/3D tab (depending on which version of catalyst drivers you are using) and in the direct 3D settings, turn OFF the wait for Vsync option..

now watch as your 3dmark benchmarks fly along at 100+fps :)
