my pc current spec is as folows

barton 2500+ oc'd @ 2.25gig (11x204)
astek power cpu, vga, northbridge water cooling kit (heavily modded)
epox 8rda3+ mobo
2 x 36gb 10k raptors in raid 0 array
2x 512mb corsair xms3700 ram (3,3,3,6)
terratek space 7.1 sound card
tagan tu-01 480w psu
radeon 9600 pro oc'd @ 460/245
cheiftec full tower case (heavily modded)

oh and a lovely bright neon light....

anyway i want to push the fsb further and i know its possible... ive seen pc's at 11 x 211 with a 2500. thing is i think i need to increase the ram voltage (already done the vcore). how do i go about this and what will it achieve.

i know overclocking isnt a good idea.. ITS A GREAT IDEA.
NO posts telling me im an idiot etc. i get enough off that off my mum when i spend 300+ on upgrades... just serious help here fellas ok...

thanks in advance...

You might get a little more on the fsb if you raise your dram voltage to around 2.7.There's really not much left to get from that 2500+,your already running it at 3200+ speeds.

well i think it'll go abit more... and will upping the ram voltages help me to set the latencies lower... will putting the two sticks in dual channel mode help this either?

thanks....

Im not sure what the differences would be running dual channel,i dont have any experience using dual channel boards and mem but as far as latencies, you should run stable at 2.5 CAS but everything else will be trial and error.

OK,i just looked up your ram info and your currently running 3,3,3,6 according to your specs above but take a look at the corsair specs page

http://www.corsairmicro.com/corsair/xms.html

find your part number and get the recommended settings,i think all of them are capable of running lower than your current settings.
