Hi...can you please go and Download the newer version of HJT...Ver. 1.98,then repost a new logfile.

Download from here
http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/files/HijackThis.exe
or here
http://aumha.org/downloads/hijackthis.exe

Do a SCAN----Scan will change to SAVE LOG----copy and paste the WHOLE contents of the log
here... Don't try and fix anything yet----It is all important.

Thx for updating HJT...here's a fix:

Press Ctrl/Alt/Del and "End Task" or "End Process" on each of the following: (They may or may not be there)

VVSN.exe
BearShare.exe
9uq8.exe

Turn off System Restore. (Turn it back on after this is repaired and you've rebooted.) Close all other open Windows and have HiJackThis Fix:

Go to Control Panel / Add/Remove Programs and remove the following if they are there:

VVSN.exe
5wqro4.exe
RO_tater2

Now delete these Folders or Files that are Highlighted: (You may need enable "Show all Files" and disable "Hide System Files" in Windows Explorer / Tools / Folder Options / View Tab) (You may have to boot to "Safe Mode" in order to delete some Files/Folders)

C:\WINDOWS\System32\madmc.dll

C:\WINDOWS\System32\9uq8.exe

Now, empty all your TEMP Folders (WinXp has up to 4 of them) / Temporary Internet Files Folder and then empty your "Recycle Bin" and reboot.

Now run HJT again and post a fresh logfile.

Hey Baros...
Is Bearshare the Paid or Free version...if it's the Free version it's full of Spyware.I was going to remove it in your fix but decided it was your choice of apps.
Kazaa+++Lite is a spyware free app you might want to look into.

Looks like you have a hidden .dll file...

Hang on we'll get you fixed up.

Press Ctrl/Alt/Del and "End Task" or "End Process" on each of the following: (They may or may not be there)

BearShare.exe

Turn off System Restore. (Turn it back on after this is repaired and you've rebooted.) Close all other open Windows and have HiJackThis Fix:

»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»*** Note! ***»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»
The list will produce a small database of files that will match certain criteria.
You must know how to ID the file based on the filters provided in
the scan, as not all the files flagged are bad.
Ex: read only files, s/h files, last modified date. size, etc.
The filters provided should help narrow down the list, and hopefully
pinpoint the culprit.
Along with that,registry scan logged at the end should match the
corresponding file(s) listed.
»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»
Unless the file match the entire criteria, it should not be pointed to remove
without attempting to confirm it's nature!
»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»
At times there could be several (legit) files flagged, and/or duplicate culprit file(s)!
If in doubt, always search the file(s) and properties according to criteria!

The file(s) found should be moved to \FINDnFIX\"junkxxx" Subfolder

I didn't see anything in the windows .txt file
I thought I seen something in the log.txt

Download CWShredder and extract it to desktop
http://www.majorgeeks.com/download4086.html

If they don't have Ad-Aware go ahead and get the free version
http://www.download.com/3000-2144-10045 ... tag=button
CHECK FOR UPDATES and then we'll run this later

Let's go ahead and try and clean you up
RESTART in Safe Mode
Follow the instructions from Symantec
http://tinyurl.com/5fjre

Set window to show hidden files and folders with these instructions
* Click Start.
* Open My Computer.
* Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options.
* Select the View Tab.
* Under the Hidden files and folders heading select Show hidden files and folders.
* Click Yes to confirm.
* Click OK.

Find these TEMP folders and delete the whole contents including subfolders but NOT the Temp Directories--just whats in them...
Don't worry if you can't delete everything--get what you can
# C:\Windows\Temp\
# C:\Documents and Settings\<Your Profile>\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\
# C:\Documents and Settings\<Your Profile>\Local Settings\Temp\
# C:\Documents and Settings\<Any other users Profile>\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\
# C:\Documents and Settings\<Any other users Profile>\Local Settings\Temp\

Run HJT again and post a new log...

When the scan is finished, the screen will tell you if anything has been found, click "Next". The bad files will be listed, right click the pane and click "Select all objects" - this will put a check mark in the box at the side, click "Next" again and click "OK" at the prompt "# objects will be removed. Continue?".
