HI Guys I would like to say thanks for your help regarding my DVD writer problem. :rox: I think I have found the root of the Prob........I removed the Optowrite and put in an old CD Writer in it place,This seems to have worked!!! I tried a simulation Burn on Nero and this was OK. I now have two drives working side by side for the first time in months.
Thanks again Pete Torquay U.K

Sorry to hear you can't use your Optowrite, but glad to hear you have 2 drives working side by side.

Glad we could help :)

that is why we're here Pete.. glad you found a workaround.. but shame your optowrite won't work.. maybe you can return it under the warranty and get a different drive?

Hi Kestrel
Unfortunately the Optowrite came installed as the OEM but I`m not too worried as I now have both drives working........Cheers Pete
