Windows Media Player 8.0

Postby caboosejjs » Mon Aug 09, 2004 9:35 pm

I have this problem where Windows Media player automatically exectutes itself during startup. I ran msconfig and verified that it was not on the list of startup files. I checked out the tools, options and saw no way to disable a startup option. Does anyone have a way for me to disable this?

I know you've got HJT so start it and Click the Conf. Button. Then the Misc. Tools Button. Now Click the "Generate Startup List" Button and copy and paste that text into this Topic.

I don't see anything in your Startup that indicates WMP starting.
