Explorer interface for My Documents

Postby patkim » Wed Aug 11, 2004 2:26 pm

Is there any setting by which ‘My documents’ would open in Explorer kind of interface by default. i.e. folder tree view on left and files / folders on right
Currently I right click and select ‘Explore’ to get this interface. Otherwise it does not show folder tree and I have to select it from ‘view’ menu. Thanks.

If you open up MyDocuments and click view, put a tick beside AS A WEBPAGE...does that do the trick for you?

I could not find that option of View as Web in XP. I believe it was available in Win 98.

Set your "My Documents" Folder the way you want it. Now go to Tools / Folder Options / View / Scroll down and put a check in: "Remember each Folder's view settings".
