Sound Freezes with Sound Blaster Live and GA7VAX

Hi, I would really appreciate some help with this problem.

I am running:

AMD athlon 2200+
GB Ga7VAX Mobo
512 DDR 266
SB live 5.1

I have downloaded all the latest drivers and have done everything I can think of to fix this problem. My sound freezes occasionally when playing videos. Games are fine unless they are windowed. I have formatted and re-installed everything and have enabled and disabled the onboard sound.

I am truly at my wits end :)

Any help would be appreciated.
