Ok i have this problem i have 3 games that do this call of duty , star war academy 3 , and return to castle wolfenstein. ok here is the problem when i try to open 1 of those 3 games the screen turns all gray and all i can do is hear the game evrything works game runs i just cant see it its all gray idk if it has anything to do with my vid card cause i played all 3 of these games before with my vid card and they all just stopped working only thing in common with these games is that they all have a consol when they start. my specs are intel celeron 2.2 ghz with 512 mb ddr ram 52 gb hard drive. ati 9200 128 mb i have tried updrading and de upgrading my card so far nothing has changed right now as im typing this im useing the catalyst 4.7 driver for my card i used the omega one for the games and it used to work and one day out of no ware they dont work all my other pc games work with nice fps

idk why these dont all i can tell you is that these 3 games have a consol when i load them. please help.

Hi Xero

I'm not a gamer but a question that I have is this consol that these games use, have you tried to reinstall it?
Can it be reinstalled?

ya there reguler games its just right before you start it a console pops up for like 2 sec then goes away then game starts and ya it can be reinstalled i have tried that for all the games like 8 times i tried to reinstall and also uninstall and reinstall

it sucks cause those are very good games and they run awsome on my computer with top notch graphics.

Have you updated you video card drivers?
Go and find your video card drivers.

Hi Xero Try this :

Uninstall Old drivers, Then restart Computer.

Then Install this : http://69.93.129.141/softmod.wxp-w2k-ca ... 16126c.exe

After install Restart computer again.

Then Install DirectX:

After this Restart again and see if it improves any hope that works

hmm did you update the games sometimes patches fix problems...

well ya i did they all stopped working when they where on the lates patch and even then it worked it just stopped working out of no ware all 3 games at the same time just stopped working all they have in common is when you open the game a consol comes up. Example if i play wolfenstein a consol named wolf consol would come up then minimize and game would come up all gray and it used to work before even with the consol its just all 3 games have consols and all 3 games dont work.

are these games copied by any chance if they are they are probably corrupted ...

Okay what are your Settings on your Gcard what resolution ? what 3d/open gl settings do you have on ? are you using Anti Aliasing etc ?

3d and open gl are set on applicatin prerenses i have tried making it low and high and all that stuff i have tamperd with all those setting and the games used to work with the exact setting im using now :shock:

idk whats wrong with it.?

if you have a via chipset motherboard (as I'm guessing you do) try installing the latest via 4in1 driver.. this sounds like an AGP issue....
