The Ram information should be in your motherboard manual if you got one.
If you don’t have a manual try going to the manufacturers website and
see if you can download one for your motherboard model.

As an alternative is a program that will
tell you what kind of Ram your system is now using.

Hi venneyImage

You are using XP right??
Don' think this will give you your type of memory but gives you your system information

To open System Information
Click Start
Then click Help and Support
Click the Support button on the toolbar
Then, under Tools and Links on the left side of the window, click Advanced System Information.
In the details pane, click View detailed system information

What's the Model number of the Advent pc....is it Model 3515?
Let us know the Model and we'll be able to determine the type of memory to use.
It looks like 2 DDR DIMM sockets support. 2.5V DDR SDRAMs (DDR400/DDR333 conditional. Maximum: 2GB for DDR333, DDR400 conditional)
But to make sure post the Model number.
It should be on the back of the PC somewhere...

hello,

i just ordered some ram from .

i haven't received it yet, so i can't vouch as to their customer service, but they do have a computer scan and a compatability guarantee.

i considered other places that were $10-15 cheaper, but i figured i'd go with the guarantee, since i hate returning things.

go manufacturer direct.... best way to be :) get the ram from the same company whom makes your pc .. by doing this you

#1 save yourself upselling time of going to a retail store
#2 get (pritty much) gatanteed you get the right part
#3 get atleast a competitive price
#4 get free shipping :)
