video game controller

i just bought a new nyko air flo pc usb computer controller, and i cant set it up for any games. i have 1964 emulator for nes games and to setup the controller the computer gets no response from the controller. it shows that the driver is installed properly and i dont know what to do

i can get all the buttons to work, but not the direction buttons

Did you try to calibrate it? ( Start/Settings/Control Panel/Game Controller/ select your game pad in the box hit properties and then select the settings tab click on the calibrate button and follow the wizard). My daughter uses a Microsoft Sidewinder game pad and when she unplugs it from its USB port we have to recalibrate it everytime she wants to use it again . Hope this helps.

i did try callibrating it, that worked, then when i set it up in the actual program for a game all the buttons work, but the direction buttons dont wory
