printer 32 pin vs firewire

Postby JCglobal657 » Mon Nov 22, 2004 2:23 am

Hi folks,
I want to buy a printer for my sons computer, it is an emachine and is about 6 years old. The current printes has gone not operational on me. I was looking around in the stores and noticed that the new printers all have firewire connections on them and not the 32 pin cable. Can I but an adapter to go from the 32 pin to the firewire??
Any help is always appreciated.
Global.

I dont know of any 32 pin to firewire adapters. There are some adapter cards you can install in your pc». If you have USB ports in your PC you could get a USB printer. You could also try some of the discount PC sites» . They have a lot of older items. Hope this helps
