Macromedia Flash Player 7

Postby Mariska » Tue Nov 23, 2004 8:10 pm

Hi everyone. I am new to this board and I need some help. I am interested in knowing if there is a way to go about saving images that are uploaded with Macromedia Flash to my c drive? I know when I right click on an image, Macro doesn't give the 'save as' option. Thanks in advance.

You will find them in your temporary internet files.

For windows XP that would be:
C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files

and since you are doing that, you might want to get other things too without going through your temp folder... try this:

get mozilla firefox, install it
download the AdBlock extension, install it
( get it here: http://texturizer.net/firefox/extensions/ )

then when you see the flash it now has an "AdBlock" tag. click it and it gives you the direct link to the file, clicking ok will block that file and put in on your list so you might not want to do that. copy the link and click the cancel button.

now you have the direct link, use download managers or open a new browser window and paste the address, then save the page.

you can do this with other files too like videos (quicktime and wma) any video i think that displays on your browser...
