Font in Outlook Express

Postby smilinjack » Sat Dec 04, 2004 10:20 am

Greetings,
This problem occurs on all 4 of my units.
once I initially set the font, that is it!
I have tried in vain to change the font style and size.
Have attempted it through: Tools/Options/Compose and the General/Accesability tab in internet options.
Short of reinstalling, any ideas?

Thanks,
Jack

Hi smilinjack,

Try this..Open outlook then click Create Mail as you normally would. On the "New Message" window, click view>toolbars>formatting bar.

You should now see the bar thats circled in red (forgive my rough drawing),set your font and try it out.

Hope that helps..

Font in Outlook Express

Postby smilinjack » Sat Dec 04, 2004 3:14 pm

Thanks liljim!
I found the problem.
I had a stationary background that was formated with a certain font face.
When you create a background you lock in on a font style. The only way to change it is to lose the stationary background.
So I created a new background with the font I wanted.

Many Thanks,
Jack
