OK, I am by no means an expert at this stuff, and I dont claim to be. Anyhow, I have been told that certain proecssors, Intel I believe, have a trait built in which allows the processor self preservation. That is, that when the processor doesnt recieve adequate cooling, it will limit its own performance to keep from melting. Not sure if that is the problem, but its a thought.

I see you have spybot installed...you need to update and run it.You have a couple entries such as Bullseye network and Internet Optimizer that need to be removed.

First, disable system restore
then go to the control panel and uninstall Bullseye Network and Internet Optimizer
then update and run spybot

After that, give us a new log.

Re: computer freezing

Lets get down to it.

Press Ctrl/Alt/Del and "End Task" or "End Process" on each of the following: (They may or may not be there)

optimize.exe
VVSN.exe

Turn off System Restore. (Turn it back on after this is repaired and you've rebooted.)
(This would also include the “GoBack” Program if it is installed.)
Close all other open Windows and have HiJackThis Fix:

Now delete these Folders or Files that are Highlighted: (You may need enable "Show all Files" and disable "Hide System Files" in Windows Explorer / Tools / Folder Options / View Tab) (You may have to boot to "Safe Mode" and rename them, in order to delete some Files/Folders)

C:\WINDOWS\Temp\TBuninst.exe
C:\Program Files\Internet Optimizer\optimize.exe
C:\Program Files\BullsEye Network\bin\bargains.exe
C:\Program Files\VVSN\VVSN.exe

Now, empty all your TEMP Folders (WinXp has up to 4 of them) / Temporary Internet Files Folder and then empty your "Recycle Bin" and reboot.

The only thing I would fix is this:

O16 - DPF: {88D758A3-D33B-45FD-91E3-67749B4057FA} (Sinstaller Class) - http://dm.screensavers.com/dm/installer ... taller.cab

How does the PC run now?
