anyone here messed around with an xt's timings? I wanted to so I could get a little more speed, but I've never done it, so i don't want to push it. As long as i don't get it too hot i know i'll be fine, but..

In your ATI control panel you should have an overdrive option. The over drive panel provides information about the current temperature of your graphics card's Graphics Processing Unit (the GPU or Core) which is only possible due to the presence of a temperature sensor on XT-based graphics cards. Aside from the temperature information function, if you tick the 'Enable ATI Overdrive' option at the top of the panel, the over drive software will actively monitor your graphics card's temperature and perform a slight overclock of your Video card's GPU core speed if safe to do so. Aditionally you could download a program called ATI tool » . ATITool is an overclocking utility designed for ATI video cards.

Hope this helps
