I checked a bunch of different sites and found nothing DIRECTLY on how to do it twith a E700. However, I have a Samsung phone and all i do is go to the control panel and select 'Backgrounds'. once im there, I have a choice to 'Set', 'View', or 'Remove' background file. Maybe its the same on your phone?

Hope this helps.
