linksys router and Bulletproof

Postby jugement » Sat Oct 11, 2003 9:16 pm

I am trying to setup a FTP server. I have a linksys BEFSR41 and 2 pc's.
My pc hosting the server runs under win200o pro and i use Bulletproof 2.15.
I followed the tut in the tips and tricks section, but it doesnt work.
I type my dynamic address on my first pc and then a window in my browser says that it cannot access the file... make sure you have the right filename and or access permission??.
I type my address ex. ftp//33.44.55.66 ? Is that all?.
Or is it something that win2000 will not allowme to access my ftp directory??

any thoughts anyone?.

Thanks. :classic:

You need to type ftp://33.44.55.66:7000
the 7000 being the port address that you opened for the ftp server

Now come the question
1. Did you setup an account in Bulletproof and set the permissions?
2. Do you have a firewall?
3. When logging in using your browser did you get the login name and password popup window?
