:?: is their an option to repair a piece of softwre in XP or somthing similar as i have removed somthing and then went to a restore point but the software i have removed wont work it has a missing file!!! i dont want to go through a whole reboot with my recovery discs!!! as ill loose all my windows updates and norton updates!!!! I just want to repair my powerDVD xp, anyone help!!!!

Did you try uninstalling (Through the Control Panel) and then reinstalling the software? brad

Windows XP Recovery can only recover certain file types from a system restore point so if a program has been uninstalled you could not recover it from the Recovery feature. You would have to reinstall it.
