heres a few quick tips

there should be two connectors from the power supply to the motherboard. The big one is obvious. The smaller one is a square 4 holed plug or a wierd flat 5?hole plug that goes the the mother board. Either of these plug puts more juice to the board-- Some power supplies come with both adapters, and sadly some only come with one. the wrong one.

That needs to be hooked up. There is an adapter they sell that plugs into a regular molex plug that will do the job if you can find one.

Make sure the power is unplugged from the computer when you install the RAM--remember your board is hot the minute the plug is in the wall.

Make sure the cpu fan is plugged in on the motherboard in the right spot.

Before you plug it in do a little praying and crossing of the fingers--none of this stuff has ever worked together before, and its so advanced, that you can't use your other computer to test parts on.

Good luck
