Postby pentagon » Thu Dec 30, 2004 1:06 am

well lets see if you guys can give me a hand with this one because Im stumped..other than a format not sure what to do...the electricity went off the other night for just a min or 2 and when I rebooted everything seems to be ok except for when I open "my computer" I get the little flashlight and it literally takes 2 minutes for it to show me my drives...did house call for viruses and nothing..did adware and nothing ..as well as spybot..IM runnin xp pro amd 2400 768 ram...oh also did system restore and nothing helped....any ideas guys?
I did recent install a new hp 271 over my wireless..not sure if that has really anything to do with it....thx

My computer did the same thing for a little bit but I don't think it was because of a power outage. I didn't know what to do so I let it be and I think after a while it stopped. Give it some time to get back in the rythym of things. That is the best that I can say, maybe someone else has some better answers.
