Similar thing happened to my dog, Muff.

I was playing with her with one of her toys, and I threw it across the room and she chased it, snagging one of her front claws on the table leg, popped it right off. I feel your pain.

Didn't take her to the vet.... We called em' and got instructions on how to handle it... Her paw looks like the little cartoons where someone hits their finger with a hammer.... You know, big light bulb looking bandage

As I said, she is pretty accident prone, so we deal with a lot of thesee things....

If only Vet had frequent visit points or something....
