monitor problems

Hi

my lcd monitor seems to be splitting the screen with half of the screen with true colours and the other half with slightly darker colour. For example half the screen appears white(which it should) the other side appears creamy colour

Any ideas?

*update*
ive been playing around with settings and colours and it seems to be split into stripes. So half the screen is normal then there is a stripe section where one stripe looks 'fuzzy' then a stripe normal etc. The patern is vertical.

Did this start all of a sudden? Did you make any changes?
