Blueyonder Broadband Internet

Postby matsta » Sat Jan 15, 2005 9:31 pm

Hi,
I've just recently had blueyonder broadband, with windows xp, I setup all the files and the modem of the cd and that, and i click on the internet and the homepage comes on very slow, and then when i want to click on a link or go on any other website it just goes to a white screen saying the page cannot be displayed... I know the box and the connectors are ok, because i installed it on my laptop and the internet had worked ever since, For some reason it seems to lose its connection, Is there anything i can do, because i've just had broadband and ive hardly used it yet. Is there any help????

Thanks Matsta :)

yea firstly plug in the usb and when u get a pop up window saying install drivers, then put in the cd. then xp will auto set up connection then thats it. if it dont work use the uninstall utility on the CD then restart comp, without putting the usb cable in! but make sure the modems on but just not connected to the pc. when u start up again plug in the usb cable from the modem, then when u get the window pop up saying new device detected put in the cd and press next and should install the drivers from the cd. If it still does not resolve the issue try to phone telewest up or post again on here.Rob.
