Wireless Radio Disabled.

Postby Limp » Mon Jan 17, 2005 9:48 pm

I'm having a problem with my wireless card in my laptop. When I try to "Enable Radio" it says "The radio on your 802.11 network adapter is still disabled. Use the hardware radio control switch to enable it." The wireless adapter is an internal Broadcom adapter (BCM4306MP). I have connected a Linksys USB network adapter and my wireless works fine with it so I think its safe to say that its a problem with the Broadcom adapter.

Check the bios, to see if that nic is disabled.

Maybe someone else has an idea or two.
