is my monitor starting to die

Postby lostboy » Sat Feb 05, 2005 4:55 pm

Basicly ive notice that when i turn off my monitor and turn it back on again the size of the screen has change to either bigger or smaller. Now i can easy sort this out my using the buttons on the monitor to get the size of the screen back to normal. But as you can guess this is annoying as every time I turn on my computer I have to sort the screen out.

Any advise??

Lostboy, try going and downloading the latest drivers for your monitor...... ESPECIALLY if u just installed SP2. I found out a lot of problems with hardware settings that existed before SP2, so I had to go and reinstall a lot of stuff including my drivers for my monitor. This is just one thing, but the drivers should help stop your monitor from changing resolutions on you all the time.

IF that doesnt work, then send another message, and IM sure someone else will have a better idea or know what is wrong w/ your screen.
