All computer hardware support

sound

Postby venney » Thu Feb 10, 2005 12:58 pm

Hello, my grandparents sound isnt working on there computer, i came over today to sort it out, i thought they would have just disabled it or something, well the lil speaker ikon isnt in the task bar corner bit.
All the wires are plugged in correctly (i think) but i played around with them and stil no change. So i clicked on the task bar, went into properties and pressed customise on the notification are, too see if i could add it, but there was no option for doing so.
How would i get the ikon back, once ive got it back if it doesnt work then il ask again in more detail.
Thanks

Venney

Hi venney,
Start > Control Panel > Sounds and Audio Devices > Volum tab >
put a check in the Show icon in task bar box
