i have a Divx dvd player(one you hook up to your tv) and some movies wont play on it. people say to try updating its firmware... do you have anyother suggestions or if not where would i find firmware? The files played fine on my divx player on my computer.. just not the dvd player

also i think the same situation with firmware might be the case with my dvd burner for my computer. it wont start disc at once sessions to burn dvds. any suggestions? if not what about findint firmware?

For the firmware flash go to the website that makes the machine. You need make and model #, you will find it there. If you have difficulty give us the make and model # and one of the fine people would be happy to search it for you.

the model is DVP642 and its made by philips

DVP642/37 is the model.. i found an update, but i still cant play my videos
