Hey everyone. My parents computer is screwed. When you go to shut it down, itll give this blue screen that says a exceptional error has occured or something and its blue screen with white writing, alot of numbers with 0's and crapola. I think is something in the registry, what do you all think and how can i fix it??

I've seen this before in Windows 98 where the person would end the windows session by hitting the on off switch.

two things can happen. The hard drive gets messed up and/or the o/s files are a little bit flakey.

Tell me what O/S you are running on it --we need to look at one of the windows log files.

Ah the BSOD what this means is that the system is set to not reboot on error.
All those 0’s indicate the error message, write them down, they should be something like
0x0000000c1, 0c00000009 and so on.
Now post the error message and OS back here and I’ll help you resolve it.
