I've never used Sygate. But I would recomend, only use one. I like Zone Alarm, only because it was probablly the first one out and I have experiece and confidence using it.

I find a lot of people using more than one virus scan program also.

Don't run doubles on virus scan or firewalls, it will slow down your computer by about 50% or a lot more!

Im using the one that comes with PC-Cillin and the firewall that comes with Windows Service Pack 2.

I was using Agnitum Outpost for a while and found it good.

I completely agree with icecube here, i think 2 is 1 too many :) Much like polarbear, i use trend micro's firewall simply because its there but if i were to recommend any it would be zone alarm.I know of alot of people using it that are very satisfied. You dont have to worry about having enough, i think you have too much myself.

Yeh, 2 firewalls is 1 to many, and what ever you do DON'T have 2 antivirus. I did as McAfee didn't pick up a trojan and I was on another forum an a guy found out for me that Bit Defender would find it so i disabled McAfee and installed B/D and got rid of my trojan, rebooted and McAfee started up as well as B/D, TROUBLE, It took me 4.5hrs to uninstall B/D and get system back to normal. NEVER again.

Sygate and Avast AV. Both free, both do their job just fine...

Then for spyware/adware I use spybot S & D, Adaware SE, hijack this, CWShredder, and Spyware blaster...
