thnx for the reply, i'll try spybot out and see if it makes a differenct, i have been getting this end task message called Capp.exe, and it's like someting to do with my software firewall, when ever i go to shut down, it comes up and starts to shut down itself, at this point i just walk a way or restart my computer, but it's keeps on comming up all the time...

try defragging too, it couldnt hurt.
