Everquest graphics

Postby josh10581 » Wed Apr 20, 2005 9:41 am

I really hope some of you play EQ so you understand what I mean. I have all of the fancy details and character models turned off so that my measly 256 ram / 1.8 Celeron can keep up. However when I am in-game I cannot see player titles, target rings, or the "find" paths anywhere. This is true at all times except when a wall or something is missing in the distance and all that shows is the grey background. Only then can I see titles and such. I JUST downloaded what I think are the newest drivers for my video card. Any suggestions?

i feel like robbro, you need to do some patch hunting. If patches dont help then i would say that S3 isnt compatable with the game. Almost everything out there requires either ATI or nVidia chipsets to run.

Actually I picked up a Radeon 9250 from the new best buy in town. Just installed last night. It seems to have fixed all of my video issues as well as speeding things up a bit.
