Please copy this to Notepad and print it. Make sure to work through the fixes in the exact order it is mentioned below. If there's anything that you don't understand, ask your question(s) before proceeding with the fixes. You should not have any open windows when you are following the procedures below.

Press Ctrl/Alt/Del and "End Task" or "End Process" on each of the following:
(They may or may not be there)
rzrvaa

Turn off system restore by right clicking on My Computer and go to Properties->System Restore and check the box for Turn off System Restore. Click Apply and then OK. (Turn it back on after this is repaired and you've rebooted.)
Close all other open Windows and have HiJackThis Fix:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [KavSvc] C:\WINDOWS\system32\rzrvaa.exe
O16 - DPF: Pristine RTR Client - http://chat.pristine.com/rtr/PristineRTR.CAB
O16 - DPF: Sametime JNI Loader ST30SP1 - http://chat.pristine.com/RTR/Packages/S ... Loader.cab
O16 - DPF: Sametime Meeting Toolkit ST30SP1 - http://chat.pristine.com/RTR/Packages/S ... eeting.cab
O20 - Winlogon Notify: DateTime - C:\WINDOWS\system32\k826lifs1826.dll (file missing)

Uninstall the following via the Add/Remove Panel (Start->(Settings)->Control Panel->Add/Remove Programs) if they exist:
rzrvaa

Go to My Computer->Tools/View->Folder Options->View tab and make sure that 'Show hidden files and folders' is enabled. Also make sure that Display the contents of System Folders' is checked. Remember to reset these when done.

Start HijackThis and click the “Open the misc tools section” now click “Delete a file on reboot”
Select the following file to be deleted on reboot:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\rzrvaa.exe
Click open click no to reboot now

Now, empty all your TEMP Folders, Temporary Internet Files Folder for each user and then empty your "Recycle Bin", reboot and post a new HiJackThis log.

Download and unzip it.
Run KillBox and paste the below into the text box:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\rzrvaa.exe
Now put a check next to “Delete on reboot”
click on the red X, click yes to delete file on reboot,
click yes to reboot now,
see if that will get rid of it.

Well, here is the next installment of my PC nightmare....

I've tried the Kill box as Gecko suggested. I continue to run AVG, Trend Micro, Adaware, and Spy Bot S&D.
I've run MSConfig and Deselected the rzrvaa.

I'm still getting random pop up advertisements, misc shortcts on my desktops, and several repeat offenders with SB S&D: (webtrends live, and nictechnetworks.zestyfind)

Here is this mornings HJT log file...

Can we try this?

Go to http://tds.diamondcs.com.au/index.php?page=download and download and run that. Make sure you update the database to the latest. It's a free 30 day trial version. Do a full system scan and let it repair any problems.

Then post a log back.
