AIM doesnt work

i use aol instant messenger, and on my computer when i log in, it loads half of my buddy list. i cannto IM anyone or check infos. It just signs me on and off and on and off, and once in a while it will actually let my IM and talk to people. Is there some way i can fix this?

I would try unistalling and reinstalling.

i have tried that... i have deadaim and it doesnt work on any aim higher then 5.5. i downloaded the newest aim, and one my old sn it signs in fine, but i still have the same problem with my new sn.
