BFG Assylum Geforce4 TI4600

I've been trying to connect my Geforce4 TI4600 graphics card to my tv via the tv in/out connector. It came with an adapter that plugs in and splits into comp in,comp out, s-vid out, and s-vid in. I dont have an adapter to connect the s-vid out to my dvd player so I was usuing the comp out directly to my tv. I also tried though my dvd player. With my old graphics card I could do this very easily. With this card I hook everything up but when I put my tv on, instead of the what should come up I get a a bunch of colored vertical stripes across the tv screen. I tried a bunch of different setups but I get the same result every time.

Perhaps your resolution is set too high.

Put it down to 640x480 and start there.

What about your refresh rate? Is it too high or too low?

I believe in setting it as high as it can go.

But for this, set it one notch up each time then try.
