No sound on pc after media player download

I am running win 98se on my pc. I downloaded the LIVE365 media player and I lost all sound on my pc. I uninstalled it and I got the sound back. Then I went back to live365.com and tried to play the stream through winamp, and lost all sound again. The problem now is, I never downloaded the player the second time, so I have no live365 player to uninstall, so im not sure how to get the sound back. I un and reinstalled winamp to no avail. Any ideas?

Maybe this is too easy,
if your download the player again and then uninstalled it it might resolve the problem again

I considered that but thought I was wasting my time. Sure enough, youre right! Thanks, actually, I also am able to listen to live365 as well. Thanks again!
