Upgrading Ram?

Postby Raaaar » Sun Jun 05, 2005 6:34 pm

i am looking to upgrade from 512mb of ram to 1 gig of ram (add 512mb or maybe add 1 gig for 1.5 gig). Currently I have 2 sticks of 256mb kingston valueram pc3200. my motherboard is an Abit ic7-g max ii advance and has 4 slots for ram. one of the reasons i am upgrading is for gaming. i will be playing battlefield 2 which has a minimum requirement of 512mb ram and recommended 1 gig of ram. i was wondering what type of ram i should buy. I want to spend less than $100 on it. any suggestions?

Try if u can to keep the RAM the same brand etc...

and remember its not just going to be the RAM that battlefield needs.
Check your graphics card against the recommended grahpics card spec.

i always take the opinion, PC games need loads of RAM and CPU and a big fat graphics card
