Logitech Headset Microphone

Ok, I just bought a new computer as a few of you know.... http://www.pctechforums.com/modules.php ... pic&t=5492
I'm having a problem though.... my freaking microphone wont work. I have a Logitech Precision PC Gaming headset (very good headset). I have gone through all of the freaking volume settings and i can't get it to work >_<... i have also tried different audio drivers..... any suggestions?

Have you checked to see if you have the plugs in the correct sockets?
