i found a motherboard the other day with socket 478 AND a pci express, now ive only seen one of them, it only has i ata for up to 2 devices  and like 4 sata, thats g0od and all but my hd is ata, my cd and stuff is ide i dont wont to buy an adapter, nor a pci thing that has ata slots on it, do u kno any place besides newegg(which is where i found it) would have any of these, i tried tigerdirect but i hate that place, its not very helpfull, i dunno if these motherboards just came out considering theres only one  but it would be nice to have a pcix16 without buying a totally new cpu, cuz i have a 3.2ghz p4 (478) i dont want to buy a new one, even though i regret not buying the socket 775 one

It would be nice if Asus support would ever answer their customers. I love their motherboards but their service is lacking.

I like Abit or Asus when shopping for motherboards. I of course am no expert though; my opinions are just based on the 8 PCs I've built...
