I just went through something like this only I think this system had a partition table corruption.
On one of the SATA raid drives of a raid 0 strip setup.
How I recovered the data was to first download .
Next I downloaded
I then installed Bart's PE Builder and used it to build a bootable CD with the GetDataBack plugin included in the build.
I also included the necessary SATA raid drivers for this system on the CD.
Booted the system from the bootable CD, installed the raid drivers and then connected to a network drive.
I then launched the GetDataBack plugin and recovered the image to the network drive.
You could also recover to an IDE drive if you don’t have a network setup.
Just make sure that you have an empty IDE drive to use, you cannot recover to the same drive that your data is on.
I was able to fully recover all the data from the strip set to the network drive,
Copied the image back to the now raid 1 mirror set, the system booted from the recovered image.
