Connection speed

I have a dial-up connection (56k) i kno that i will never be able to connect at 56k probably a maximum of about 53k.

However, is there any way i can improve my bandwidth speed to connect a little faster, i have tried init strings and booster programs and even using a high-quality phone line to connect with, none of these are working, does the solution lie with the ISP or are there any ways to connect faster

Are you connecting at 53kps now? If so, You can't ask for any better than that.
