Hi all. I am spec'ing a new system and I am wondering if it will work for playing ALL the games of today with no lag? Lemme know, thanks!!

Specs:

AMD Athlon64 3700+ 1MB Cache (Zalman CNPS7700-CU cooler)
ASUS A8N-E Motherboard
OCZ Platinum PC3200 1GB Kit, Heatspreaders
Leadtek Nvidia GeForce 7800GT 256MB DDR3 Video Card
Creative X-Fi Xtreme Music soundcard.
LG16X DVD-ROM
Pioneer DVR-110 DVD-RW
200GB SATA 16MB Cache

Is the 3700 going to do a good job of running games? Thanks!

As for CPU, your better off going for Dual Core Processors as this is the future! As for the other parts I really can't say much, they seem fine to me!

Yeah, go the dual core if you can. I myself just got a AMD X2 3800+ dual core, the lowest of its kind....LOL and it works great.
Either way wateva CPU you get you dont really need a different HSF, stock is fine unless your overclocking.
Umm, you mention games, well im a BF2 player and 2GB of RAM does help with the load times, when switching maps on the same server i find that im one of the first out and i take advantage of that. ( placing C4s at their spawn for major kills  )
So go 2GB if you can, if not, 1GB will do fine.
Oh and which Power Supply are you getting?
