Acrobat reader problem

Hi guys,

Lately, my acrobat reader is taking forever to load up (two hours at least). I updated it to the latest version and it still takes a long time. I did scans with norton, adaware and spybot and my computer came up fine on all of those. Any suggestions on what to do besides reformatting or any ideas on what might be causing this?
