Blue screen of death

hi i keep getting the blue screen of death and each time it says IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL anybody know what this means and how to fix it thanx.

system spec is

amd athlon 2600
1gb pc3200 ram (2 x 512)
maxtor diamondmax 10 200gb sata
radeon 9250 256mb
gigabyte mobo

Could you please post the complete error that you are getting it should look something like this:

IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
STOP 0x0000001e (0xc0000005, 0xbf89e3f1, 0x00000000 0x0000002e)
